Q. Are There Filters And Will I Need to Change Them?

A. There are indeed filters but thankfully you’ll only have to change these twice a year with normal family use.

Q. Will The Tank Take Up A Lot Of Space?

A. The tank is surprisingly small considering it has a capacity of 2.5 litres. Usually they’re stored underneath your kitchen sink.

 

Q. Will I Need My Tap Or Tank Servicing?

A. Nope, no servicing is needed for either the tank or tap. All you need to do it ensure the filters are changed when required.

What's the difference between a boiling-only tap, a 3‑in‑1 and a 4‑in‑1 InSinkErator tap?

A boiling‑only model gives you instant near‑boiling water at the touch of a lever, ideal if you mainly want hot water for drinks and cooking (the HC1100 boiling tap from at a lower price point). A 3‑in‑1 adds filtered cold water alongside the instant boiling and your normal hot/cold mixer, so you get drinking water without a separate filter jug (you'll see several 3‑in‑1s with tanks priced at a lower price point). A 4‑in‑1 includes a chiller tank as well, so you can have instant boiling, chilled filtered water and your normal mains hot/cold from one spout, these are the higher‑end NeoChiller combinations. Pick the type that matches how often you want chilled or filtered drinking water as well as instant hot water.

Will the NeoTank or NeoChiller fit under my sink and what space do they need?

The filtered storage tank fits under your kitchen sink and contains the heating or cooling components, so you must have cupboard space and easy access for filter changes and maintenance. Measure the available depth and height under your sink and compare with the tank dimensions for the specific model you're looking at; many product products in our range show NeoTank or NeoChiller options as separate bundles. If you already have a lot of plumbing or a waste disposer in the cupboard, allow extra room, sometimes a larger sink unit will be needed to accommodate both.

The range shows joystick, single lever and twin lever controls, each offering a slightly different feel; single levers are space‑saving and straightforward for everyday mixing, while twin levers separate the boiling function from the normal mixer for clearer operation. Joystick controls give precise movement and can be handy if you need fine adjustment. If you have children or want a clear separation between boiling and regular taps, many people prefer twin lever models for the extra distinction between functions.
