Integrated Fridge Freezers

Discover a neat and tidy way of storing your food with an integrated fridge freezer. As the name suggests, an integrated fridge freezer is a built-in appliance designed to fit seamlessly behind your kitchen cabinetry, creating a sleek and uniform look. Unlike freestanding models, these fridge freezers are concealed behind cupboard doors, blending effortlessly into your kitchen design while still offering all the storage and cooling features you need. Available in a variety of sizes and designs, integrated fridge freezers combine refrigeration and freezing in one space-saving unit, making them perfect for modern homes where aesthetics and functionality go hand in hand.

Designed for efficiency and convenience, integrated fridge freezers come with advanced cooling technology to keep your fresh and frozen food at the perfect temperature. Many models include frost-free technology, meaning you’ll never have to manually defrost again, as well as fast-cooling and freezing functions to preserve food freshness for longer. With adjustable shelving, deep storage drawers, and energy-efficient performance, integrated fridge freezers provide a practical and stylish solution for keeping your kitchen both organised and visually appealing. Whether you're looking to upgrade your space or create a sleek, minimalist kitchen, an integrated fridge freezer offers the perfect blend of design and performance.

Which fridge/freezer split should I choose — 50/50, 60/40 or 70/30?

Think about what you store most. A 70/30 split gives you more fridge space and suits households who buy fresh produce or cook from scratch, a family keeping salads and milk on the top shelves with frozen meals in a smaller freezer. A 50/50 is handy if you freeze ready meals or bulk-buy frozen goods equally to fresh food. A 60/40 is a useful compromise if you want slightly more fridge room without sacrificing too much freezer capacity.

What is the difference between NoFrost, Low Frost and TwinTech No Frost?

NoFrost or Total No Frost prevents ice build-up so you never have to defrost manually, ideal if you want low maintenance. Low Frost reduces frost buildup but may still need occasional defrosting, and it can be found on several models here. TwinTech No Frost uses separate cooling circuits for fridge and freezer to keep humidity and odours separate, helping fresh food last longer, you'll see that on certain Electrolux models. If you want truly hands-off maintenance, pick NoFrost; if you prioritise humidity control for fresh produce, TwinTech is worth considering.

What cupboard dimensions do I need for an integrated fridge freezer?

Measure the internal cabinet height, width and depth and compare with appliance dimensions included in our range, many integrated models are around 1769–1772 mm high and 540–548 mm wide, with depths commonly 545–550 mm. Allow a little extra depth and height for ventilation and door movement; a 1772 mm high, 545 mm deep unit needs a full-height cabinet and room for fittings. If you're unsure, note the exact model dimensions before ordering and measure inside the furniture including the plinth area.

How do fixed hinges and sliding hinges affect how the furniture door fits?

Fixed hinges keep the appliance door and furniture door aligned and are simple to install, as seen on Neff fixed-hinge models. Sliding hinges allow the furniture door to glide clear of the appliance when opened so the door sits flush against the cabinet, useful if you have full-height or handleless doors, Bosch Series 4 models offer sliding hinges. If your kitchen door is large or handleless, a sliding hinge usually gives a neater and more reliable furniture integration.

Which brands give the best value for different budgets?

If you are on a tight budget, Prima offers very affordable integrated options at a lower price point that cover the basics. Mid-range choices from Candy, Hotpoint and Hoover sit at a lower price point and often include Low Frost or No Frost features. For more advanced tech and quieter operation, Neff, Bosch, Electrolux and AEG range at a lower to mid-range price point up to over the current product price and include NoFrost, TwinTech and premium fittings; pick these if you want longer-lasting freshness and extra convenience features.
