When you think classical country kitchen you would normally picture an Aga and of course a shiny white Belfast sink. Belfast sinks are made from ceramic and is a lot tougher than you might have originally thought. Yes if you dropped it from a height it might crack but then again what sink wouldn’t be damaged by this sort of abuse? Ceramic however has its own tricks up its sleeves. It’s resistant to just about anything you could throw in it for a start, plus it’s really easy to keep looking clean because it won’t scratch like ordinary stainless steel kitchen sinks, a god send if you’ve got perpetually clumsy people using it!
