Which Indesit oven size and capacity is right for my household?

Most Indesit ovens here are the standard 60 cm width, so you'll be choosing by capacity rather than width, main oven sizes included in our range include about 48, 66, 69 and 71 litres. If you live alone or as a couple and rarely cook large joints, a 48-litre single oven is usually plenty. For a family or if you often roast for guests, a 66–71 litre oven or a double oven gives the space and flexibility you'll appreciate. a 71-litre main oven comfortably fits a large roasting tray while you still have room for side dishes.

Should I get a single oven, double oven, or a built-under model?

Single ovens are compact and ideal if you mainly cook for one or two people; double ovens suit families or anyone who likes to roast and bake at different temperatures at the same time. There are both built-in 60 cm double ovens and built-under double options, so you can match the unit to your kitchen layout or cabinetry style. A double oven is handy for holiday cooking when you need a roast in one cavity and a bake in the other.

How do the different cleaning systems compare — Easy Clean enamel, hydrolytic, pyrolytic and Click & Clean?

Easy Clean enamel gives a smoother surface that wipes off grease more easily but still needs a bit of manual rubbing. Hydrolytic cleaning uses steam to soften residues so they’re easier to lift away, which is gentler and uses less energy. Pyrolytic cleaning heats the oven to very high temperatures to incinerate grime for a near‑hands‑free clean, although it uses more energy and is best for very dirty ovens. Click & Clean refers to removable parts such as inner glass that click out for straightforward cleaning of the door.

What does Turn&Cook and fan-assisted cooking do for everyday meals?

Turn&Cook simplifies meal selection by using a single dial to select preset programmes, so you don't fiddle with multiple settings, great if you want reliable results fast. Fan-assisted cooking circulates hot air for even temperatures across shelves, so bakes and roasts cook more uniformly than with conventional heat alone. Combined with fast preheating, these features save you time and reduce guesswork when you're juggling weekday dinners.

How do the energy ratings and fuse ratings affect running costs and suitability?

Energy ratings (A, A+, A++) indicate how efficient an oven is in use; higher ratings typically mean lower ongoing electricity costs, and many Indesit models here are Class A or better. Fuse ratings (13A, 16A, 32A) reflect how much electrical load the oven draws, smaller, plug-in style ovens often have lower fuse ratings, while larger double ovens and models with pyrolytic cleaning tend to have higher ratings. If you want an economical everyday cooker, an A or A+ single oven with a modest fuse rating is a sensible choice; a larger double oven with higher energy use suits heavy cooking and entertaining.
