Can I use these ceramic tiles on both walls and floors?

Most tiles in the range are designed for walls — ten are listed for wall use only — while only one is specified as suitable for both wall and floor (the Amiata Seurat Grey patterned vitrified tile at 250 x 250mm). Vitrified and unglazed tiles are the ones to look for if you need floor durability and wear resistance. For example, pair the 250 x 250mm vitrified tile on the bathroom floor with 75 x 300mm gloss wall tiles to get a hard‑wearing floor and an easy‑clean wall finish.

Which tile sizes and shapes work best in a small bathroom or kitchen?

Narrow rectangles such as 75 x 300mm or 100 x 200mm are excellent in small rooms because laid vertically they make the ceiling feel higher, and laid horizontally they widen the space. Small squares like 130 x 130mm create a cosy, tactile look and work well as a splashback or feature band. If you want a roomy, contemporary feel, use 100 x 200mm metro tiles in a light gloss to reflect more light.

How do glaze and finish affect appearance and cleaning?

Most tiles here are glazed and glossy (ten gloss/glazed items), which brighten and reflect light and are easy to wipe clean, though they can show water spots more readily. The single unglazed or matte option gives a softer, more textured look and tends to hide fingerprints and minor surface wear. For example, a gloss Amiata Metro white 100 x 200mm is ideal for an easy‑clean kitchen splashback, while a handmade matte style suits a rustic bathroom where a softer finish is desired.

Which colours and styles will suit different design schemes?

The range includes duck egg and sage greens, blues, pink, grey, multi‑patterned and several whites, plus styles from contemporary to handmade, rustic and Victorian effect. Choose metro whites or bone whites for a clean, modern bathroom; rustic or handmade green and blue tiles for a country or Scandi scheme; and the patterned 250 x 250mm tile for a period or Victorian‑style feature wall. For instance, sage 75 x 300mm tiles with warm wood vanities create a calm, natural bathroom palette.

How durable are these ceramic tiles for kitchen and bathroom use?

Ceramic tiles are described as naturally resistant to heat, moisture and stains, making them well suited to both kitchens and bathrooms. Glazed, gloss finishes give good stain resistance and wipeability for splashbacks and shower walls, while vitrified or unglazed tiles offer the extra hardness you want for floors. If you need a durable floor that also looks decorative, the vitrified 250 x 250mm patterned tile is a practical choice.
