Stone resin trays give a solid, weighty feel underfoot and often retain heat better than lighter acrylic trays, creating a more premium finish; Hydrolux lists at least one stone resin option (800 x 700mm). You'd choose stone resin if you want a robust tray for a busy en-suite or a visually substantial base in a smaller bathroom. Bear in mind stone resin can be heavier to manoeuvre and may need firmer support during installation.
