What are the practical differences between a thermostatic dual-head bar mixer and a digital shower?

Thermostatic dual-head bar mixers (Architeckt, Park Lane) mechanically keep temperature stable and usually cost from around the current product price to the current product price in our range; they give you an overhead and a handset for flexible spray patterns. Digital showers (the Mira Platinum digital at around the current product price) offer precise temperature control, presets and smart features, making them excellent if you want programmable convenience. What freestanding bath size should you choose if you want to comfortably share the bath with someone?

For a comfortable two-person soak aim for a bath around 1700mm long, such as the Affine Montriond 1700mm shown, which gives generous length and often includes a built-in waste for a neat finish.
