Look at how your bath sits in the room and where you need access. End panels cover the bath's short face, while side panels run along the long edge; many Trojan walk-in baths are supplied with both side and end panels to create a neat, finished surround. If your bath is fitted against two walls you may only need the front-facing panel; for a freestanding or partially exposed bath you'll usually want both. Measure the visible faces of the bath and match them to the panel sizes shown, such as 1700 x 700mm or 1675 x 850mm.

Yes. Trojan panels are made from expanded polystyrene foam with a cement base polymer and fibreglass reinforcement, giving them three times the adhesion grip of standard plasterboard and extra resistance to wear. They're completely waterproof, so they won't swell or deteriorate with splashes and steam. You get a sturdy, low-maintenance finish that still remains lightweight and easy to handle.

You can, because the EPS construction is easy to trim to the size you wish. A fine-toothed saw or sharp utility knife will let you shorten a panel to fit around pipes or between walls; trimming a 1700mm panel down to 1650mm to fit a narrow alcove. Take care to protect the finished face when cutting and check edges for neatness before fixing.

LH (left-hand) and RH (right-hand) describe which side the bath door and controls are fitted when you are standing facing the bath.
