How do I know which smart shower suits my home's water system, gravity-fed or combi/high‑pressure?

Look for the product's water-feed tag; items in our range are labelled "Gravity Pumped" for low‑pressure gravity systems and "HP/Combi" for high‑pressure or combi boilers. If you have a combi boiler, an HP/Combi model such as the Mira Platinum HP/Combi is designed to deliver the flow and pressure you expect. Gravity‑pumped showers will usually require a shower pump to get good performance. Many of the smart showers here are thermostatic or digital, so they still give precise temperature control regardless of your supply type.

What is the difference between concealed and exposed smart digital showers, and which is better for a small bathroom?

Concealed showers hide the valve and plumbing behind the wall for a clean, pared‑back look, while exposed showers have the valve and pipework mounted on the wall for easier access. For a small bathroom you may prefer a concealed option such as the Aqualisa Optic Q Concealed to keep sightlines uncluttered and make the space feel larger. Bear in mind concealed units need enough wall depth for the valve body, whereas exposed models are simpler if you lack that cavity. Both styles are available as single or dual head digital systems, so you still get smart controls and temperature accuracy.

A smart thermostat manages the boiler or whole heating schedule, while smart radiator valves (TRVs) fit to individual radiators to control each room's temperature.
