Finding the Right Shower

With so many types of showers available on the market, it can feel daunting trying to find the right one for your home. It’s true that there are many types of showers available, but here are some that we think are a good place to start looking:

Electric Showers

These modern showers are an ideal addition to any bathroom. With a clever heating element built into the shower, you won’t need to worry about a hot water feed with electric showers. An electric shower is designed to run off the cold water supply combined with electricity, so you won’t need to worry about using your boiler, either.

Mixer Showers

Mixer showers have undoubtedly revolutionised the shower industry. Manual mixer showers are designed to blend your hot and cold feeds, allowing them to mix perfectly inside the mixer valve which results in the optimum temperature you desire. They boast user-friendly features and come in a range of styles, including a beautiful Exposed Valve Mixer Shower.

Power Showers

If you like the sound of an electric shower and mixer shower, then a power shower may be a good alternative. Known as a pumped shower, these showers are ideal if you have low water pressure in your home. Much like an electric showers, a power shower offers a built-in electrical pump, resulting in a powerful stream of water.

Digital Showers

Digital showers have become a game-changer in contemporary homes. Perfectly blending modern technology with advanced features, these highly advanced showers are incredibly easy to control. Using the same design as a manual mixer shower, the main difference is you won't need to manually control the temperature setting of your shower. Instead, everything is controlled at the touch of a button. With digital displays allowing you to control your shower, you can experience a user-friendly shower like no other.

Smart Showers

If you thought digital showers were advanced, you haven't seen a smart shower. These modern showers offer all the perks of a digital shower but manage to give an extra touch of technological luxury. Smart showers seamlessly incorporate hi-tech features, including app-control. You won't even need to step foot in your shower to turn it on, simply speak to your smart shower via an app or voice control using your WiFi, and your shower will warm up in no time.

Thermostatic Showers

Last but certainly not least, thermostatic showers are the answer to all of your shower temperature prayers. If you've ever experienced your shower going scalding hot or ice cold when someone turns a tap on or flushes the loo, then a thermostatic shower is the way forward. Designed to keep the temperature at a consistent level, it automatically adjusts the hot and cold water through your shower. They're an extremely safe showering option, especially for families with small children.

Although these aren’t the only showers out there, it’s a good place to start looking when thinking about buying your next shower.
