What is the practical difference between the corner and straight wall-hung RAK Resort vanity units, and which should you choose?

Corner units are shaped to sit neatly in a 90° corner so they use otherwise wasted space and keep your floor clear, making them ideal for cloakrooms and very small bathrooms. Straight wall-hung units sit flat against a wall and give a more traditional look and slightly easier access to the basin front. If you have a narrow room with a WC opposite the basin, a 450mm corner unit will free circulation; if you have a run of wall space or want a cleaner linear look, choose the straight 450mm or the 610mm option.

What sizes are available and how do I know whether 450mm or 610mm is right for my space?

The range mainly comes in 450mm widths with one option at 610mm. Pick 450mm if you're fitting a cloakroom or a compact en-suite where every centimetre counts; the 610mm option suits slightly larger cloakrooms or small family bathrooms where you want a bit more basin and storage width. Measure the clear wall space and allow room for a door swing or nearby WC before deciding.

Which colours and finishes are offered and how will they affect the look of my bathroom?

Finishes include matt White, several matt Greys (Stone, Mushroom and standard Grey) and a matt Blue (Denim). White brightens and makes a tiny room feel larger, grey gives a modern, muted backdrop that hides wear well, and denim blue adds a bold, contemporary contrast paired with brass or chrome fittings. a matt grey corner unit with pale tiles creates a calm, spa-like cloakroom, while a denim unit gives a strong focal point in a monochrome scheme.

How durable are the RAK Resort units and what maintenance do they need?

These are solid wooden units with soft-close doors and are described as built to last, so they offer good structural strength and a premium feel. To keep them looking their best, wipe surfaces dry after use and avoid prolonged direct contact with water or steam; regular ventilation will also help protect the wood. The soft-close mechanism reduces stress on hinges, so daily use is gentler than on basic cabinetry.

Do the vanity units include basins and are the basins suitable for small cloakrooms?

Yes, the products in our range are for "vanity unit with basin", so the basin is included and sized to match the unit, particularly the 450mm models designed for cloakrooms. Corner units have a basin shaped to fit the corner footprint so you retain more floor space, while the 610mm option gives a larger basin surface if you want more wash space. The integrated combination keeps the look neat and avoids the need to source a separate basin.
