Here we have a cross section of one of the shower trays showing you just how the layers and created. It shows how the acrylic encapsulates the stone resin and that there are also hollows left underneath to ensure that the tray isn't overly heavy.

A good reasonably priced tray to fit shower compliments the shower.The front cover to hide underside void of raised base could have improved number of fixings enabling the curved strip provided to follow the base profile. 3 points insufficient so made my own using wooden blocks and Velcro strip, also benefits future access below base if required.
