The process of macerating is in simple terms, it grinds up the waste into smaller pieces and then turns it into slurry, and this allows it easy access to the sewage system. The D-2 is specially designed to remove grey wastewater from appliances around the rest of your house. . The slim and compact design is perfect for easy mounting to the wall. makes it simple to mount to hte

I wanted this for a hand wash sink in my factory which we could not get a gravity drain from. It is a great little unit. It is compact but robust. It plumbed in relatively easily - I say relatively as I did not plumb it in myself and the instructions are not over clear, but it went together well anyway. It was cycling a little to start with but we soon found the non return valve was sticking open - probably since we fitted it. We soon fixed it and now it works perfectly. It seems to pump very quickly and works for short bursts. It is not noisy - certainly nothing like a full toilet macerator. The electric got turned off one night and the sink simply backed up - we did not get any water on the floor. The seems and ideal product - well built and designed. I would recommend it to anyone.
