How It Compares To The Competition
Simple Start/Stop Push Button
Getting the Quartz started shouldn’t be rocket science and with an easy to use push button for switching it on and off this really is a refreshingly simple shower to get to grips with.
After all nobody wants a stressful morning before they’ve even got in the shower!
Only a cold water supply required
Electric showers are by far the most convenient to install. They connect to a cold water supply only and not to your boiler, warming the water using an element inside the shower. So if you're worried about your brother, sister, partner or anybody else using all the hot water in the house then this electric shower is certainly for you. Because no matter how much you us it, it won't run out or let you down when it comes to heat.

I bought this to replace a failed Gainsbouorough Regent II shower that was about 30 yers old, and had started to leak water from the rear as the PRD had activated. I chose this as it was slightly larger than the old shower but had the water and cable inlets in the same place. Because of this the replacement was very easy. I did have to drill three new holes though as the mounting points were in different places. It's higher powered but suited to the 6mm cable I have as it's a short run and surface mounted, confirmed by my electrician who is replacing my old 32 amp breaker. The shower works on the 32 amp one and hasn't tripped but I'm only taking short showers until he can fit a new one which is on order. The shower itself is much better than my old one, an electric shower will never give you a power shower feel, but this does seem to give a reasonable flow of water which feels quite gentle as it hits the skin, similar to the feel you get from some expensive taps that mix air in with the water from the tap. It's very simple to use press button and dial the temperature, you can leave the temp set for the next use . It will be interesting to see how well this copes in the winter compared to my old 7Kw shower, as the incoming water will of course be colder. My old shower wasn't so pleasant to use in winter, as the flow had to be reduced to a dribble to get hot water. This is one of the disadvantages of an electric shower. However at the moment I'm really happy with my new Aqualisa Quartz.
This Shower was purchased to replace a worn out unit that had served our family extremely well, on average a minimum 4 showers daily for the past 8 years. We have always insisted on Aqualisa showers in past houses that we have lived due to the simplicity of installation, but with the durability and reliability required for a fully running household of 4, with the additional extra use due to the daughters uni friends that appear at weekends now that she has returned. I fear a less able shower would not withstand the constant use that the Aqualisa has had to endure these past years with the ability to also choose the type of water spray from the shower head that the individual craves when under it. Hence the very easy decision to choose yet another Aqualisa shower. I cannot really say that there are any serious down points to the shower apart from having to replace the shower hose every now and again through shear usage, like a car tyre really, its the bit that constantly moves and wears out which needs replacing. The hoses are priced well so not a bank busting expense, the replacement shower was also very competitively priced from Plumbworld so also works out cheap for the amount of use it gets for the price paid. All I can say is well done Aqualisa and Plumbworld and thank you
First time purchase from plumbworld. Price was better than high street names with ordering really easy. Couldn’t have asked for anything better. Shower sent out next day and arrived promptly, being kept informed on rough delivery times through the tracker. Great service! Shower easy to fit replacing the older aqualisa ‘energy’ shower. Only difference was adding a compression elbow but everything else was like for like. Shower looks great in the bathroom and works really well.
I cannot comment on fitting this shower as an electrician did it for me, but I am very pleased with it. I chose it because the Consumers Association, 'Which?' gave it the best review for this type of shower. It is better than the Triton Opal shower I had before which was here when I moved in 5 years ago, so don't know how old it was. This shower is easy to set the right temperature, warms up very quickly and has a very good spray, so I recommend it.
A Which best buy and now having used it I can see why. A nice steady flow and adjusts quickly without burning or freezing you when another tap is turned on. The heat control is very simple to use and easy to turn, we haven't needed to adjust it since installation as it always supplies the correct water temperature. And the price compared with the better known market leading makes made this a very easy decision (after many hours of research).
Brought this to replace our existing Aqualisa Quartz electric shower that had failed after 10 years. Happy that the footprint is unchanged and so no holes needed drilling and plumbing could be simply reattached. The front cover has been modernised from what we had, the original one was graphite in colour, I went for white this time simply due to price and have to say how smart it looks, very stylish, reminds me of a fiat 500 :)
We live in a 1930s top floor flat with low water pressure and no combi boiler and we cannot have a pump put on our water tank due to complexities of the old pipework. The cheapest option was to instal an electric shower using existing 6mm cabling. This was the best shower we could get and has been worth every penny. It looks good and gives a first class shower.
A quick and prompt delivery - The shower was bought after looking at Which ratings. Been using it a few weeks now and it works well. The controls are basic but does keep water flow and temperature consistent. How long and how trouble free it runs - time will tell. Would recommend it. MN, Leicester
Having bought this shower from Plumb World I was very surprised how efficient it was for the price I paid. It is far better than the Red Ring one I had previously and would recommend it to anyone. It shower head is brilliant and gives a vibrant shower. It was easily fitted and was just what I needed.
Replacing an old shower of a different make which had done very well but needed to go to make way for ensuite renovation. Chose this because of good reviews and WHICH recommendation.Good value for money, neat, sleek, very simple controls. Great product and great service from Plumbworld.
This is a replacement for an existing aqualisa shower. We have had the previous one 7yrs. Excellent. Easily adjustable. Good temperature. Beautiful looking. Just perfect for a modern bathroom
