The single control bar couldn’t be easier to use, which means it’s ideal for infants and the elderly. Simply turn the unit off and on by rotating the left toggle, and adjust the temperature to the desired level using the one on the right. There’s even a temperature override button which allows you to set a threshold, preventing the unwary shower-user from an unpleasant surprise. This innovative safety feature is complemented by the bi-metallic technology which is the trademark of the Aqualisa Aquarian range. By constantly monitoring tiny fluctuations in water temperature and pressure and making the appropriate adjustments at top speed, the valve ensures a continuous flow from the nozzle at all times.

The valve is connected to the shower head via a 1.5m chrome-plated metal hose, which can be adjusted to the correct height via the pinch-grip slider. There are two different shower heads compatible with this model – the Varispray and the Turbostream – both of which offer three spray settings. The Varispray comes equipped with a Full, Relaxer and Focus setting, while the Turbostream is capable of Cascade, Champagne and Massage, meaning there’s an appropriate spray setting for every occasion and personal taste.
