The Xpelair Simply Silent Humidistat and Timer Extractor Fan automatically helps control moisture in bathrooms and cloakrooms. Its humidity sensor, timer overrun and two-speed operation provide effective ventilation with sound levels as low as 22dB(A).

Automatic humidity control

The built-in humidistat monitors moisture levels in the room and activates the fan when humidity becomes too high. This helps remove damp air and reduce the conditions that can contribute to condensation and mould.

Timer-controlled extraction

The fan can operate with the room’s light switch and continue running for a predetermined period after the light is switched off. This allows it to remove remaining moisture after the room has been vacated.

Two-speed performance

Two operating speeds provide extraction rates of 54 or 76m³/h. Sound pressure levels are 22dB(A) on the lower setting and 34dB(A) on the higher setting, measured at a distance of three metres.

Flexible recessed installation

The fan can be fitted through a wall, window or ceiling, subject to the appropriate installation method and accessories. A 300mm telescopic wall tube and external grille are supplied for wall installation.

Axial fan design

The axial mechanism moves air parallel to the rotating shaft, making the fan suitable for direct extraction through a compatible external wall or window.

IPX4 and Zone 1 rated

The IPX4 rating provides protection against water splashes from any direction. The fan is suitable for Zone 1 bathroom installation when correctly positioned and fitted in accordance with the applicable electrical regulations.

Always use a qualified electrician to confirm the correct bathroom zone and complete the installation.
