Description−
Switch operated
These extractor fans are operated using the light switch for your bathroom. A simple flick of the switch and excess humidity from a shower or long bath can be extracted until you turn the light back off. For extended extractor you may want to consider one with a timer or humidistat.
Recessed Design
Recessed fans can be installed through a wall, window or alternatively the ceiling giving you that extra bit of flexibility.
Axial
Axial type fans cause gas to flow through in an axial direction which is parallel to the shaft where the blades rotate, making the flow axial at exit and entry. Axial fans are designed to create a pressure difference and force which produces a flow through the fan.
IPX4 Rating
This product has a rating of IPX4 which means it is protected from water splashes from any angle.
Zone 1 Rated
IP rating stands for 'Ingress Protection rating' and this helps us determine what bathroom electricals can go in particular bathroom zones. An IP (Ingress Protection) number or code is used here in the UK to specify the environmental protection of enclosures around electronic equipment. These ratings are determined by specific tests.

Always been a fan (forgive the pun) of Xpelair product compared to Manrose GET etc only other supplier I would rate is Vent Axia. Had these as replacements of Manrose & GET for a client they are delighted so so quiet. Only issue I had was the new 3 plate fixing not ideal when working on the ceiling of an old victorian house laths and crumbaling plaster got there in the end but would have been a simple job if the old 4 plate fixing was still in place cannot fault the product though.
