What is the difference between exposed and concealed thermostatic shower valves, and which one will suit your bathroom?

Exposed valves sit on the wall and are often easier to access for maintenance, while concealed valves hide the pipework for a cleaner, minimalist look; our range offers many concealed options (around 80) and about 38 exposed ones. If you want a sleek, tiled finish with only controls visible, a concealed valve is ideal. Choose an exposed bar mixer if you prefer a more traditional or industrial look and want straightforward access to the controls. For a family bathroom where you need robust, easy-to-adjust controls, either style will work,pick the finish and outlet configuration that match your layout.

How many outlets do you need for your shower set-up?

Use the outlet guide: 1 outlet for a single shower head, 2 outlets for two shower heads or a shower head plus a bath filler, 3 outlets for two shower heads and a bath filler, and 4 outlets if you plan to run two shower heads, body jets and a bath filler. if you want an overhead rain head and a separate handheld, a twin-outlet thermostatic valve is the usual choice. If you're planning body jets as well, step up to a four-outlet valve to avoid extra diverters later.
