This was a replacement unit to replace an old surface mounted Mira shower. As the room was recently re tiled I didn't want to make new holes for pipe work This unit fitted perfectly to the existing fittings and took only half an hour to do. The shower is simple to use, temperature controlled hence no accidental burns. The pressure is twice as good as my old unit. A very good buy and value for money.
Need a shower that could cater for external pipes with this one does. Easy to fit and is working well. Great price and would recommend to anyone. You can adjust the heat setting up or down from inside the body but I don’t have to do this as its hot enough anyway.

Had a old Mira showertap before, so perfect to get something new and shiny like this one.
I bought this to replace a Mirror Silver shower mixer. The water inlet centres are the same but the back fixing plate is different. Not a problem if you have normal DIY skills, provided there is sufficient play/clearance for the water feed piping. In my case there wasn't. The mixer needs to be lifted over a lip on the back fixing plate after the water pipes are connected. Without clearance and flexibility this is a problem. I resolved by using smaller fixing screws and larger holes in the tiles and was lucky that I was using the wooden batten in the wall behind for anchoring. By not fully tightening the screws I was able to move the plate sufficiently. Not an absolute solid anchor but good enough.
