Positive Head Operation
Positive head shower pumps (twin impeller) are designed for gravity-fed systems with enough natural flow to activate the pump. As a general guide, there should be at least one metre between the base of the cold-water storage cistern and the shower outlet.

Bought this pump to replace a Salamander pump that I'd never been happy with due to it's inconsistent operation. Sometimes it wouldn't start for almost a minute or too.I was told it could be the taps were incompatible. After putting up with it for 4 years, a plumber recommended the Stuart turner pumps.
