Stuart Turner Showermate EPDM PTFE Aluminium Oxide Seals

EPDM/PTFE/Aluminium Oxide Seals

PTFE and Aluminium Oxide seal materials provide the most reliable sealing solution available, reducing risk of pump leakage and resulting water damage to the home while the use of PTFE (Teflon) also reduces the chances of the seal sticking when a pump is not used for periods of time.

Stuart Turner Showermate Continuously Rated Motor

Continuously Rated Motor

Continuously rated shower pumps effectively run until the user turns it off. This is particularly good in a family home where the shower needs to be used frequently throughout the morning or evening. A pump that isn’t continuously rated will turn itself off to allow the pump to cool, potentially causing issues with water pressure to the shower.

Twin Impeller Shower Pump

Twin pumps are designed using the highest standard of technology to boost your water pressure of both hot and cold water supply to a single shower, bath, shower mixer or mixer tap. Put a stop to low water pressure with this pump. It is perfect for transforming your unsatisfactory shower into a powerful and invigorating shower that you'll never want to leave.

Positive Head

A positive head shower pump is designed to be gravity fed, therefore it needs a 'head' of distance (at least a metre) between the pump and the bottom of the cold water cistern. The gravity feed 'kick-starts' the pump, pushing water straight through to your shower.

Stuart Turner Showermate Dry Run Protection

Dry Run Protection

Dry run protection is really important for the wellbeing of your shower pump. Bearings and other internal parts may get seriously damaged if there is a blockage or a drop in pressure causing the pump to run dry.

Stuart Turner Showermate Flow Switch Sensitivity

Flow Switch Sensitivity

An automatic flow switch is crucial to have the shower running when it needs to be. When flow exceeds 0.8 litres per minute the pump automatically starts, delivering that powerful flow that it’s there for.

A Victorian house with a maze of gravity fed plumbing. 5 showers and low pressure kitchen tap. I was sceptical about taking out the two electric showers which worked well so we could have one pump that did all and I am delighted to say that it did not disappoint. Great pressure in all the showers, taps etc. The unit doesn't take up much space and sits on the floor of the airing cupboard. It makes some noise but it is not objectionable and switches off soon after the water stops running. My plumber recommended and installed this pump and I am glad he did! Plumbworld prices were better than the others I had sourced and delivery was the next day which is not something we often get when living in Northern Ireland. I can recommend this wholeheartedly. Important that you choose a good plumber who either has installed a pump before and has read in the instructions. Note: If it doesn't turn off when the water has stopped then check for a leak including toilets eg if a cistern is constantly filling the pump will keep running!

Moving into a new house, the hit water pressure was really poor. Raising the header tank would make little difference so I decided to install a shower pump. I was advised not to buy a " cheaper " brand / models, so decided on the Stuart Turner 3 bar pump . Installation was relatively simple and we were all ready in less than three hours. My god, what a result. Bags of power in three showers at the same time. We did suffer a small problem with the pump running on, but a call to Stuart Turner saw them sending me a new pump the next day. Great service from all concerned, and long may it last !!. A brilliant product backed up by great after sales service.

I’ve been running a Stuart Turner 3.0bar monsoon pump for over 15yrs great pump (green steel bodied) with only a pcb replacement in all that time, so a sound product. With a gland now leaking decided to make the only choice of another monsoon 3.0bar pump. Ordered, arrived and then you go to swap out. Pipes different lengths, width narrower and rubber feet replaced with plastic ones. Stuart Turner what were you thinking, whole heap of rework required just to replace like for like. Apart from that normal service has resumed, looking forward to another 15yrs or so of great service from a solid pump. Thanks Plumbworld, will definitely use you again.

My last pump was a Stuart Turner twin three bar, and I installed that in 2006. No problems from the previous one, we live in a soft water area (Ayrshire). New pump is quieter, but it has reduced-bore connectors to accomodate service valves that I'm not best pleasedabout. Plus the "staggered" heights on the input and output meant I had to fettle my setup to accomodate it. Perhaps some "standard plate" interface could be used in future so that replacing a pump is easier, plus whether service valves are included being made an option. Overall, bloody good pump. Impressed. :-)

Bought this pump from Plumbworld to replace a Stuart Turner 1.5 pump. Needed to replace my 20 year old Mira twin impeller 1.5 bar pump. Began with a ST pump 1.5 bar from Plumbworld . This did not pass the wife test as shower (water) pressure was disappointing. Spoke again to Stuart Turner, they agreed to take it back and I bought this 3 bar pump from Plumbworld Brilliant performance from the 3 bar pump and brilliant performance from Plumbworld. Downside, the delivery courier DHL let them and me down. Plumbworld to their credit sorted it out Emma and Laura. G

Unfortunately it had 22mm connectors and all my pipes are 15mm so I decided to return it and order another. It was done reluctantly because the product engineering looked too good for a domestic pump. I replaced it with a similar make but 2.0 Bar. Delivery was prompt but I had to pay for its return as it wasn’t damaged so I was mildly disappointed. However I found the insuranc quite steep and was particularly annoyed when the courier implied that if I didn’t insure it I obviously wasn’t bothered if it got thrown around; I took it as a threat!.

When we bought the house we inherited a power shower with a Stuart Turner pump. You had to turn it on via a pull switch and it was noisy, but it did the job. It also took ages for the water to flow. So searched the net and found Plumbworld and ordered a Stuart Turner Monsoon 3.0 Bar Twin Impeller Positive Head Shower Pump and it was with me the next morning, plumber came in next morning and fitted it. What a difference, for one we can barely hear the pump running. The pressure is greater and strangely the water appears to be hotter.

As I understand Suart Turner make the best shower pumps. I bought this to replace the previous model which packed in after 11 years reliable service. Plumbworld offered the best price I could find, good telephone communications and delivered next day (to Northern Ireland, yes that's correct) Although the courier delivered to the wrong address, 4 doors down the other side of the street, Plumbworld could not be faulted for that. So, a massive 5 stars, excellent customer service and value for money.

Purchased this to replace a previous Monsoon Pump that had decided not to work anymore. Easy to install, produces good pressure and handy that it now has isolation valves on the flexible hose connectors. Noise level is good also. All in all a great product if unavoidably a little expensive.

I ordered the pump from Plumbworld as the price for this pump was the best I could find (about £100 less than the plumber was going to charge). The pump arrived exactly as predicted (delivery was free) and has been installed and is working well. Good price, good service and free delivery!

Order process exceptional. Delivery excellent if only courier had actually left me a card to say they had tried to deliver! Fitted by professional who was extremely pleased with product. I am delighted with my showers. You get what you pay for an excellent product.

A reliable and robust shower pump from a respected pump manufacturer. Easy to install with integrated isolation valves in the connection hoses and push fit pipe connectors. It’s brass construction promises years of trouble free operation. Well worth the cost.

An excellent purchase which provides constant pressure to both my fitted showers. It arrived within 72 hours (my plumber took longer!). It is not small to hide away but is stylish and quieter than my previous pump (not Stuart Turner!!). Highly recommended
