Shower Enclosure Spares

Over many years of daily use the moveable parts on your shower enclosure doors can unfortunately deteriorate so we like to ensure spare parts are available so you can replace them if needs be. We keep seals, handles and some side panels to give you the opportunity to spruce up your enclosure if you feel like it’s looking a bit tired. They’re compatible with the Hydrolux and Essentials enclosures so please check the product descriptions for more information on compatibility.

How do I know whether you need 4mm, 6mm or 8mm spares for your shower enclosure?

Check the glass thickness of your existing enclosure, common sizes in our range are 4mm for Hydrolux folding screens, 6mm for many Luxura bath and sliding doors, and 8mm for frameless Diamond and quadrant screens. Match that thickness to the spare you buy, use a Luxura vertical seal marked for 6mm sliding doors (1835mm) if your glass is 6mm, or the Diamond spare seal 1865mm for an 8mm quadrant. Product products in our range also state which enclosure ranges they suit, so confirm compatibility in the description before you order.

Can I replace parts on both framed and frameless enclosures, and are the spares different?

Yes, there are spares tailored for both framed and frameless designs; our range offers packs such as "8mm Shower Enclosure Spares Pack for Chrome Framed Hinged, Sliding, Quadrant" and separate packs for 8mm frameless sliding and quadrant panels. Frameless enclosures use different guide blocks and rollers, the Diamond Bottom Guide Block and Bottom Double Roller spares for 8mm frameless doors, whereas framed doors use hinge and screw-fixing kits like the Luxura outward hinge spare for 6mm bath screens. Always match the spare type to your enclosure style and the included in our range compatibility.

Which spare parts should you replace first if your shower door leaks or won't slide smoothly?

For leaks, start with the seals, common options include bath screen seals at 733mm or 800mm and vertical seals such as the 1835mm for 6mm sliding doors. If doors stick or don’t move smoothly, replace rollers and guide blocks, examples are the Diamond Bottom Double Roller or the Luxura roller parts for bifold doors. Replacing those targeted parts usually fixes the common issues without replacing the whole enclosure.

Are there different finishes so your spare parts match your bathroom styling?

Yes, spares come in finishes to match your décor; chrome is widely available for traditional looks, while matt black items exist for modern bathrooms, such as the Clario Vantage 2000 wall profile extension in matt black and 6mm spares packs specifically offered in black. You can match a matt black profile with black rollers and handles to keep a consistent contemporary look, or stick with chrome components for a classic finish.

When is it better to buy an individual spare part and when should you buy a spares pack?

Buy a single part when only one item has failed, a lone Luxura outward hinge or a Diamond chrome handle, which is cheaper and quicker. If multiple components are showing wear, seals, rollers and guide blocks on a sliding door, an 8mm or 6mm spares pack for your specific configuration (quadrant, sliding, pivot or walk-in) gives you all the matching items at once and saves time. Packs are particularly useful when refreshing an older enclosure to ensure all mating parts match and perform reliably.
