Aqualisa Unity Q Smart Controllers

Aqualisa Unity Q smart controllers are designed to be used with Aqualisa Unity Q smart showers. These fabulous digital showers come in a variety of formats to suit your needs, including dual outlet and single outlet, ceiling fed and rear fed, and high pressure/combi and gravity fed versions. Combine fixed wall shower heads, fixed ceiling shower heads, adjustable heads, and bath fillers in a variety of ways to suit your preferences.

Smart controllers are an optional extra feature available for both dual outlet and single outlet versions of the shower. They have a start/stop function with a range of 10 metres. This means you can turn the water on and let it reach temperature before stepping into the shower. Great for cold or hectic mornings. They have a stylish, modern look and feature a smart, chrome finish to match the Unity Q showers.

Control your shower using the smart controller, voice activation or Wi-Fi via the mobile app. Unity Q products are compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Home, too, so you can integrate your smart shower into your existing smart home setup.

Create profiles for multiple family members, personalising flow, time and temperature settings to each individual. What is the difference between the single-outlet and dual-outlet Unity Q smart controllers, and which one do you need?

Single-outlet controllers are made for showers with one water outlet, so they operate a single head or bath filler. Dual-outlet controllers are for systems with two outlets, letting you switch between or run two outputs (an overhead ceiling head and a handheld). Both types are optional extras for the Unity Q range, so you should match the controller to whether your Unity Q shower is a single or dual outlet model.

How does the start/stop remote work and will it let you get the water to temperature before you shower?

The start/stop remote gives you a wireless on/off function with about a 10 metre range, so you can turn the shower on from another room and let the water reach temperature before stepping in. It's particularly handy on cold mornings because you can preheat the water and avoid a chilly first spray. The remote works with both single and dual outlet Unity Q models.

Can you control the Unity Q smart controller with voice or an app, and can you create profiles for different family members?

Yes, you can control your Unity Q shower via the mobile app over Wi‑Fi and by voice using Amazon Alexa or Google Home. The system lets you create individual profiles with personalised flow, time and temperature settings, so you might have a child's profile with a lower maximum temperature and shorter run time and an adult profile with a warmer, longer shower. You can also track water usage through the app to help manage costs.

Will the smart controller match the look of my Unity Q shower and other bathroom fittings?

The controller has a smart, modern chrome finish designed to match Unity Q showers and typical chrome bathroom fittings. It will sit neatly alongside chrome fixed ceiling heads, adjustable heads or bath fillers and keep a consistent aesthetic. If you have a polished chrome scheme, the controller will blend in visually.
