Aqualisa Thermacoil technology
Aqualisa’s patented Thermacoil technology is a bi-metallic thermostatic valve that automatically regulates water temperature by adjusting the mix of hot and cold water in response to pressure changes. Originally introduced in the 1970s, it offers reliable, fail-safe showering by shutting off if the water supply fails, preventing scalding or freezing. This ingenious technology is used in Aqualisa's Aquastream showers, ensuring safe and consistent shower performance each and every time.

Precise temperature control
Standard showers can have hot temperature spikes when others in the house turn on taps or flush the toilet.
Thermostatic control means that this shower will hold its temperature steady at all times. It dynamically adjusts the hot and cold water offsetting the everyday changes in water pressure experienced in most family homes.
18 litres water per minute
The amazing Aquastream has the ability to provide a massive 18 litres of water per minute, allowing you to enjoy a truly relaxing shower experience. That’s a whopping 28% more water than a Mira Vigour or Triton AS2000XT! Uses Aqualisa patented Bi-Metallic Coil technology to ensure the best temperature stability of any power shower.
4 spray patterns
Featuring 4 brilliant spray patterns, the Aqualisa Aquastream allows you to easily control the spray pattern depending on the type of shower you desire. With light flow for a truly relaxing experience or a more powerful flow when you need a revitalising shower after a long day or night, there’s a setting for all the family.
Eco setting
Included within the Aquastream's 4 wonderful spray patterns is an eco spray that can reduce your water usage by up to 25%. This not only saves you money but it can also help you to save the environment too!
Easy clean nozzles
This brilliant shower head features easy-clean nozzles to minimise the build-up of limescale. Limescale is a bathroom pest and can easily block things like shower heads. However, with easy clean nozzles, you can simply wipe this mess away with a cloth and mild soapy water and continue straight away.
CE marked product
This product has been CE marked to ensure full compliance with BS EN 14428. This means that not only is it suitable for the UK market but it's been rigorously tested for safety.
Gravity pumped shower
Ideal for homes with low-pressure, gravity-fed water systems, this gravity pumped shower is designed to deliver a strong and consistent flow. Equipped with an integrated pump, it boosts water pressure to provide a powerful and satisfying showering experience, even in properties with traditional tank-fed systems. Perfect for upgrading older plumbing setups, this solution ensures reliable performance without compromising on comfort or style.

For the minimum required pressure, the highest part of the shower head must be below the underside of the cistern
Pipework entries can be found on the top, bottom and rear of the shower unit
Please note: a built-in pump is incorporated into the shower unit to provide the flow boost. This means that the shower is only to be used on a gravity fed water system and cannot be used on a high-pressure water system

Bought this shower to replace the Aqualisa Aquastream that was in out house when we moved in. It was as old as the house (20 years+) so we thought another one would be a good investment. It's doing a great job so far! Bought this colour option as it was the cheapest. They're not cheap showers, but I think give very good value for the cost. Have had an aquaLisa unit fitted for close to thirty years. This is the third head. One other was ruined by the water company introducing a large amount of gravel into our supply. I think ten years for this kind of unit in daily use by a family is good service. Changing from the very first unit to the later type involved shortening the supply stubs and new fixing holes. Electrically it is unchanged. I regard this as future proofing which is a valuable commodity these days. The shower has always performed well, this latest one is even more powerful due to a new shower head. Very pleased as it was actually cheaper than the unit bought ten years ago.
