Switch Off the Light, Leave the Steam to Airvent

Your shower might be finished, but the moisture needs a little longer. This Airvent fan operates with the bathroom light switch, then continues running for a set period afterwards to help clear lingering humidity.

Removing moist air helps reduce condensation and the damp conditions that encourage mould growth, making ventilation one of the harder-working bathroom accessories.

Discreet Design, Effective Extraction

With an extraction rate of 25 litres per second, this model helps move humid air and odours outside. Its low-profile design keeps the appearance simple without making the fan a feature of the room.

These bathroom extractor fans use an axial design for connection through an external wall, making them a practical option when selecting bathroom fans for this installation type.

IP44 Splash Protection

The IP44 rating provides protection against solid objects larger than 1mm and water splashes from any direction. The fan’s 100mm format suits compatible ducting.

Zone 2 Rated

IP rating stands for 'Ingress Protection rating' and this helps us determine what bathroom electricals can go in particular bathroom zones. An IP (Ingress Protection) number or code is used here in the UK to specify the environmental protection of enclosures around electronic equipment. These ratings are determined by specific tests.

These extractor fans can be fitted within Zone 2 as shown below.

Please note: Electrical products installed in these zones must meet the required IP rating. Always consult a qualified electrician to ensure compliance.
