How do I match profiles and trims to the colour and height of my wall panels?

Match the finish first, profiles come in Matt Black, Brushed Brass, Polished Silver, Satin Silver, White, Chrome and Brushed Gold so pick the one that echoes your panel or tapware. Then choose the correct length: many trims are supplied in standard lengths such as 2750mm, 2.4m or 2.6m to suit common panel heights. if your panels are 2.75m high and you want a dark contrast, order a 2750mm internal corner Type A in Matt Black to line up neatly with the panel edges.

Which specific profiles will I need for internal corners, external corners and finished edges?

Use an internal corner profile (Type A) where two panels meet on the inside, and an external corner profile (Type B) for outside corners. Finish exposed panel ends with an end cap (Type C) or a straight end cap, and use a continuous joint profile (Type D) where panels butt together along a flat run. If you want a near-seamless look, the Invisible Corner Type 101 or hidden internal corner options minimise visible metal.

Which adhesive and sealant should I use, and how much will I need?

Use a high-grab adhesive made for bathroom wall panels, the 310ml high-grab cartridge shown is a common choice, and finish joins with a bathroom-grade sealant or a seal kit. As a guide, a 2.4m by 2.4m shower with three panels typically needs two 310ml cartridges of adhesive and one cartridge of sealant for all vertical joints. If you have a larger enclosure or several runs of panels, allow roughly one adhesive cartridge for every two to four panels and at least one sealant cartridge per room.

Which profile options give a contemporary, tile-less look versus a more traditional finish?

For a contemporary, minimalist finish choose invisible or hidden corner profiles (Type 101 or hidden internal corners) and slim finishes like Satin Silver or Matt Black. For a classic or brighter look pick chrome, polished silver or white edge trims and external corner profiles. invisible corners with Satin Silver profiles create a spa-like, tile-less wall, while white edge trims and chrome external corners suit a more traditional bathroom.

Are these accessories compatible across brands such as Multipanel and Starline?

Many accessories are designed to work across the major panel systems, but some profiles are manufacturer-specific, so matching the profile type to your panel brand is safest. Multipanel and Starline both offer a wide range of trims, Multipanel supplies internal corner Type A and invisible corner Type 101, while Starline offers aluminium internal and external trims in 2.4m and 2.6m lengths.
