Boost One Water Supply

This single impeller shower pump is designed to boost one water supply. It can increase pressure on either a hot or cold feed to a tap, or boost pre-mixed water from a shower mixer.

Unlike twin-ended models, single impeller shower pumps don’t boost separate hot and cold supplies at the same time. This model is a practical choice when one supply or an already mixed outlet needs a stronger 2.6 bar flow.

Suitable for Positive and Negative Head Systems

As one of the universal head shower pumps (single impeller), this Showermate can operate with positive or negative head gravity-fed systems. It doesn’t rely solely on natural flow to activate, making it suitable for installations where the outlet is level with or above the cold-water storage cistern.

Automatic and Continuous Operation

The flow switch starts the pump automatically when water flow exceeds 0.8 litres per minute. Its continuously rated motor allows it to keep operating while the outlet remains in use, which is helpful in busy households where showers may be used several times in succession.

Dry-run protection helps safeguard the bearings and other internal parts if a blockage or interrupted supply leaves the pump without enough water.

Designed for Reliability and Lower Vibration

EPDM, PTFE, and aluminium oxide seals provide a reliable barrier against leaks. PTFE also reduces the likelihood of a seal sticking when the pump hasn’t been used for a while.

The two supplied anti-vibration hoses connect the pump to the incoming and outgoing pipework. They help limit the transfer of motor vibration, reducing noise and protecting the pump and connected pipes.
