Shower Waste Water Pumps

If you want to install a shower at home or at the office but don't think you have the plumbing system to do it, then think again. With our fantastic range of shower waste water pumps, it's easier than you think to have a full shower installed where once it might not have been possible. They can be used with any type of shower from electric and mixer showers to digital and power showers so you can be happy that compatibility isn't an issue. These macerators work very much like a pump but instead of providing extra power to the shower they provide extra power to the waste water so that it can be quickly, easily and efficiently be pumped to your waste water piping. So don't be restricted by your plumbing system, fit your shower exactly where you need it. While some of these shower waste water pumps have connections for toilets, some are designed with only one outlet.

Will a shower waste water pump work with my type of shower?

Yes. These pumps are compatible with electric, mixer, digital and power showers because they don't boost the shower itself but pump the waste water away, so compatibility isn't an issue. you can fit one to drain a power shower in a downstairs cloakroom where gravity drainage isn't possible. Check the specific model's inlet size and flow rate if you have an unusually high-flow power shower.

How do I know whether I need a grey water pump or a lifting station?

Grey water pumps are compact and ideal if you only need to remove shower and basin waste, while lifting stations are larger and meant for heavier use or multiple fittings. If you want to link a shower plus a basin, a 2-inlet lifting station (the Flo-Force Elite with 2 inlets) is a practical, cost-effective choice. If you plan on connecting a toilet or several fittings, choose a more robust lifting station designed for multiple inlets.

How many inlets do I need, 1, 2 or 3?

One inlet suits a single shower outlet; two inlets let you connect a shower and a basin; three inlets give space for an extra fitting such as a basin or shower tray waste. the Sanifloor+3 is specifically offered for shower tray installations with multiple connections, whereas many shower-only pumps come with a single inlet. Think about what other fixtures you might add now or later when you decide.

Which model should I pick for a tiled floor, a vinyl floor or a shower tray?

The Sanifloor+ range is tailored to floor type: Sanifloor+1 is for tiled floors, Sanifloor+2 for vinyl floors and Sanifloor+3 for shower trays. If you need a very low-profile unit to fit under a shallow tray or in tight space, consider the Sanishower Flat model, which is designed for flatter installations. Match the model name to your floor type to avoid lift or height problems.

What price should I expect and what features change as the price goes up?

Prices in the range start around the current product price for basic lifting stations such as the Flo-Force Elite (2 inlets) and rise to around the current product price for premium Sanifloor+ units that are tailored to different floor finishes and have extra inlets. Lower-cost units give reliable single- or dual-inlet pumping for simple shower installations, while the pricier Sanifloor+ range offers floor-specific options and greater flexibility for multiple fittings. Look at customer ratings too, many mid- and high-end units here score 4.7–5.0, which reflects user satisfaction with build and performance.
