How do I choose the right shape and size for my bathroom?

Start with the space you have, the range runs from compact 700–800mm sides up to 1700mm on the longest side, and shapes include rectangular, square, quadrant and offset quadrant. For a long, narrow shower run a 1700 x 700mm rectangular tray fits neatly; for an en-suite a 760 x 760mm square or quadrant tray is a common choice. Measure the longest and shortest walls and match to the sizes included in our range so an enclosure will sit flush.

Which material should I pick, acrylic, stone resin or Ducostone?

Most of the range is acrylic capped ABS, which is lightweight, affordable and easy to handle; acrylic-capped stone resin and Ducostone give a denser, more solid feel and tend to be quieter underfoot. Stone resin or Ducostone are good if you want a heavier, premium finish that resists chips and feels more substantial; acrylic is sensible if you need a lighter tray that's friendlier to carry and manoeuvre. Balance cost, feel and the finish you want for the overall bathroom look.

Are there low-profile raised trays or are they all high stepped options?

The majority are raised with a common height around 140mm, while a few are 135mm and there's a single 40mm deep profile option. If you prefer a lower threshold look, look specifically for the deep profile or smaller height products in our range; most raised trays, by contrast, are designed to sit on a plinth so the waste can be accommodated beneath. Check the height spec for how bold the step up will be in your bathroom.

Do these trays come with non-slip surfaces?

Yes, about half the range is offered with non-slip finishes (44 yes, 44 no), so you can choose a textured surface if safety is a priority. Non-slip versions are often found across popular sizes like 1200 x 800mm and 1600 x 800mm, ideal for family bathrooms where wet floors are a concern. If you have children or reduced mobility in the household, the non-slip option is a sensible choice.

Where is the waste positioned and does that affect the tray I pick?

Almost all raised trays have a centre waste position with only one corner-waste option, so it's safest to plan for a central waste. Centre waste works well with most enclosures and makes aligning the shower tray with a square or rectangular enclosure straightforward. If you need a corner waste for a specific layout, you'll need to search carefully because it is uncommon.
