What sizes do raised rectangular shower trays come in and which size might suit my bathroom?

The range includes acrylic-capped ABS, acrylic-capped stone resin and Ducostone. Acrylic-capped ABS is lightweight, hard-wearing and cost-effective, making it a practical choice for most bathrooms. Stone-resin and Ducostone feel heavier and more solid underfoot, retain warmth better and give a more luxurious matt finish, but they tend to cost more. If you want a premium look and tactile feel, a stone-resin or Ducostone tray is a good fit; for a budget-conscious refurbishment, acrylic-capped ABS works well.

Yes, roughly half the range is offered with a non-slip surface and many Podium models are specifically labelled Non-Slip. A non-slip tray gives extra grip underfoot, so it's sensible if you have children, older household members or simply want added peace of mind. the Podium 1200 x 800 mm Non-Slip tray combines a roomy shower area with a textured surface. If you prefer a sleeker look and no extra texture, the smooth-finish options are widely available too.

Where is the waste positioned on these trays and why does that matter for my layout?

Almost all the raised rectangular trays list a central waste position, with only a single corner-waste option in the range. A centre waste suits most rectangular enclosures and aligns well with middle-opening doors or centrally placed shower fittings. If your enclosure or shower design needs drainage at the corner, you'll need to seek out that rare corner-waste tray or adapt the plumbing layout accordingly. Check the waste position before you finalise the tray so your enclosure and drain align neatly.

The common height in the range is around 140 mm, with a few models at about 135 mm and a single low-profile option near 40 mm.
