I chose the Mira excel EV mixer having bought one a few years ago at a previous house. I also purchased a Mira mini duo as was having two showers fitted. Both are great showers and perform equally well with very good water flow especially considering I don't have amazing water pressure at home.
If you can afford to spend the extra on the excel you won't be disappointed. The excel is a seriously high quality piece of engineering, so solidly built and will last for years without issues. My plumber once described it as the "Rolls Royce of showers". In the unlikely event you do have issues there are plenty of replacement parts out there. There are of course much fancier looking showers with larger shower heads and features but this one just works so well! If on a tighter budget I can definitely recommend the mini duo.
