Will an Aqualisa Visage Q Smart Shower work with my combi boiler or other high-pressure system?

Yes. The Visage Q range is specifically designed for high-pressure and combi boiler systems, so it suits mains-pressure homes and most combi setups. If you have a gravity-fed system or very low mains pressure, these models will not perform as intended. If you are unsure whether your system is mains-pressure, check your boiler type or ask your plumber.

What's the difference between ceiling-fed and wall-fed models, and which is best for my bathroom?

Ceiling-fed showers have pipework entering through the ceiling and are ideal when you want an overhead rainfall head positioned from above. Wall-fed showers use pipework through the wall and are much easier to retrofit into an existing bathroom. For a new build or large walk-in shower you might favour a ceiling-fed rainfall concealed model, while a standard renovation usually benefits from a wall-fed exposed or concealed unit.

Should I choose a concealed or an exposed Visage Q shower valve?

Concealed valves sit behind the finished wall for a clean, minimalist look and pair beautifully with rainfall heads and frameless enclosures. Exposed valves are surface-mounted and far easier to access for maintenance and quicker to install in a retrofit. If you're planning a full retiling or new wall build aim for concealed; if you want a straightforward swap without opening the wall, go exposed.

Do I need one outlet or two outlets, and can both run at the same time?

Single-outlet models give you one fixed head or a handset on a riser rail and suit small enclosures or where you want simplicity. Two-outlet models provide a fixed head plus a handset so you can switch between or use them together for a more immersive experience. Whether you can run both at full force depends on your boiler's capacity, so check your boiler's flow rate if simultaneous high flow is important to you.

How do the built-in WiFi and smart features benefit everyday use, and are there any drawbacks?

In-built WiFi lets you start and control the shower from your smartphone and even use voice assistants for hands-free operation, giving precise temperature control and the convenience of pre-warming the shower. The benefits include repeatable temperature settings and simple remote control, which is handy in busy households. The trade-off is reliance on an app and your home network, so if you prefer completely mechanical simplicity you might opt for a standard digital model without smart connectivity.
