Does this need a larger than standard shower curtain?
No—typically, you don’t need a larger curtain. Standard UK shower curtains are commonly around 1800 mm in both height and width (~70 in) and are intended to fit these adjustable configurations. Since this rod extends up to about 1850 mm, a standard 1800 mm-wide curtain should fit perfectly. There's no need to buy an oversized curtain unless your bath or enclosure is unusually wide.
However, a standard curtain might just match the rod's length. If you’d like a bit more overlap or extra coverage—especially on the curved profile—you could consider a slightly wider curtain (e.g., 1900 mm), but it's not strictly necessary.
