I had to wait for my son to come home and fit this seat - but it was worth the wait!! Two previous inferior seats have either cracked or slipped but this one is perfect. My son said it was easy to fit (I have arthritis and cannot do anything "fiddly") and he has never fitted a toilet seat before!! Great quality seat with nice low-gloss finish. My plumber fitted it to my new toilet with the fixings facing forward by mistake which meant it didn't line up properly with the toilet bowl and the seat didn't stay up when raised. I managed to figure it out though and now it fits perfectly and it looks great. Moral - fit it yourself!
