Condensate Pumps

We have a great selection of Condensate Pumps, which are designed to be used with a condensing boiler, refrigeration unit, air conditioning unit, or dehumidifier, all of which produce contaminated water which must be removed and properly disposed of into the sewage or drainage system. Condensate Pumps effectively dispose of damaging acidic concentrate from water-producing equipment in installations where a neutralising tray is not required.

Plumbworld offer a selection of condensate pumps to suit your requirements - and with a 4.8 star rating on Trustpilot, you can be confident you're in safe hands with us. We offer big brands at small prices and offer practical bathroom, kitchen and heating solutions that enhance everyday life. Depending on your area and the items on your order, we offer free parcel delivery, next day delivery, Saturday delivery and select-a-day delivery. Select-a-day delivery is especially useful if you've got a large project planned and want all your purchases to arrive on a certain day.

How do I know whether your boiler or appliance needs a condensate pump?

If you have a condensing boiler, refrigeration unit, air conditioning unit or dehumidifier you will be producing contaminated, acidic condensate that must be removed and properly disposed of. You usually need a condensate pump when the appliance cannot drain by gravity to a sewer or waste point, for example a boiler in a cupboard below the soil stack or an air‑conditioning unit on an upper floor with no nearby fall. A pump lifts and disposes the acidic concentrate safely into the drainage system so it does not pool or corrode nearby pipework.

When do I need a neutraliser as well as a pump?

Some discharges are acidic enough to require neutralisation before entering certain drains or soil stacks, whereas other installations can dispose of condensate directly without a tray. If you want to neutralise the condensate you can add a product such as the Sanineutral Mini, which is listed alongside the pumps. For example, fit a Sanineutral Mini ahead of the drain if you are worried about corrosive effects on older pipework or sensitive discharge points.

Which model should I pick for a small cupboard or tight space?

Look at the compact models such as the Sanicondens Clim Mini or the Sanicondens Best Flat+, which are designed for low‑profile and restricted locations. The Clim Mini and Eco models sit around £91–£92, making them attractive for a space‑constrained boiler cupboard, while larger or more feature rich units such as the Deco+ or Flat+ (around £150–£158) suit bigger systems or where you prefer extra capacity or robustness. If your boiler sits on a shallow shelf, a Mini or Flat model will usually fit more neatly than a bulkier unit.

How much maintenance do condensate pumps need and what should you check?

Condensate pumps are generally low maintenance because they are built to handle acidic water, but you should inspect them periodically for leaks, ensure the inlet is free of debris and replace any neutralising media if you use a Sanineutral unit. Occasional visual checks and a quick clean of the drain path will keep the pump working reliably and prevent blockages. Regular checks are especially sensible where condensate is contaminated, as acids can accelerate wear if left unchecked.

What budget should I allow and how do the different price bands compare?

Expect entry to mid‑range pumps around £70–£100, with many popular Saniflo models such as the Sanicondens Eco (£92.46) and Clim Mini (£91.46) in that bracket. More premium or feature‑rich models, for example the Sanicondens Deco+ (£157.81) or Best Flat+ (£150.00), sit in the £100–£160 range. If you need neutralisation, the Sanineutral Mini is about £79.99, so factor that in if you plan to treat acidic condensate before discharge.
