Return to page 1 of Complete Bathroom Suites

These complete bathroom suites are all you need to create a beautiful new room which caters for all your bathroom requirements. Included in some of our sets are shower baths which allow you either a quick shower or a relaxing bath any time you want, this is ideal for those who like a bit of variation in their morning or evening routine. A number of the packs also come with brassware and waste so you can take out the stress of picking those too, you’ll get everything you need all in one quick and easy order.

What is the difference between an L-shape shower bath, a shower bath, a straight bath and a single-ended bath, and which one suits your routine?

An L-shape shower bath gives you a roomy shower area at one end and is ideal if you want a combined bath and shower in one unit, which you’ll see a lot of in the 1700mm L-shape options. A shower bath is similar but may have a straighter profile, while a straight bath is a classic rectangular bath for bathing only. A single-ended bath has all the fittings at one end, saving space and often working well in narrower rooms. If you shower daily and need flexibility, a 1700mm L-shape or 1600mm L-shape is a practical choice; if you mostly bathe and want a sleeker look, opt for a straight or single-ended bath.

Should you choose a full pedestal basin or a vanity unit for your suite?

A full pedestal basin gives a classic, space-saving aesthetic and keeps the floor area feeling open, but offers no storage. A vanity unit hides plumbing and provides drawers or cupboards for toiletries, which is useful if storage is limited. For example, if you have a family bathroom with children’s products to store, a 1700mm suite with a vanity unit will keep the room tidier than a pedestal basin.

How do you match finishes and styles across the suite so everything looks cohesive?

Look at the finish names in our listings, there are options like Royan Black, Royan Brass and Park Lane chrome, and aim to match your taps, waste and exposed fittings to the suite’s finish for a unified look. Black fittings give a modern, bold statement, brass adds warmth and a traditional touch, and chrome is versatile and timeless. If you pick a Royan Brass suite, for instance, select the brass-branded pack so your bath taps, basin taps and any exposed hardware share the same tone.

How do I choose the right bath length for my bathroom?

Measure the available length and allow clearance for the door and any furniture; most suites on offer are 1600mm or 1700mm, with 1700mm being the most common and giving a comfortable bathing and showering area. If you have a very compact en-suite, the single 1500mm option or 1600mm baths will save floor space. For example, a 1700mm L-shape will give you space for a shower screen and still leave room for a vanity unit across from it in a standard family bathroom.

Do complete bathroom suites include taps, brassware and waste, or will you need to buy those separately?

Some packs include brassware and waste so you don’t need to hunt for matching taps, while others focus on the sanitaryware only and leave brassware as an option. Look at our product listing, Affine Royan sets are listed “with taps” or “with brass,” and several vanity-equipped packs bundle fittings too. If you want a fully coordinated package with minimal extra shopping, choose a suite that explicitly states taps and waste are included.
