★★☆☆☆I have had one of these (well several actually) for two years. I've spent countless hours on the phone and having engineers come out. The three mounting lugs on the back of the controller are acrylic (clear) plastic and by nature brittle. They interlock with the wall plate which is made of a softer black plastic. It only takes the slightest of accidental knocks (while washing yourself or cleaning your tiles) for the unit to come loose as the brittle lugs are so tiny that they simply break off. It then inevitably hits the shower tray either smashing the glass and/or compromising the waterproof integrity of the unit thereafter. Once water gets in it starts messing about, even if you have managed to glue the damaged lugs back on. Other issues 1) the button has never worked well on any of the units that I've had. It's far easier to turn it on and off with the remote which does work well 2) I've never had any luck getting the proximity sensor to work as advertised 3) the first two units I had were machined aluminium and beautiful. The last two replacement units that I have had are just chromed plastic, looking and feeling a lot less high quality. The plastic bezel doesn't rotate as well as the ally ones did as there seems to be more friction inside the unit. Water temperature regulation is excellent but apart from that it's pretty disappointing for a premium product. If I could downgrade without having to rip my bathroom apart to install a new cable I would. I have two Quartz units in the same house and they have worked faultlessly. They don't have the bells and whistles but I'd happily have forgone those for the time that I've wasted on this thing.

★★☆☆☆Not working correctly, nothing but trouble since we had it, parts missing, didn’t fit properly and now can’t control the temperature. Only had it since June
