The Aqualisa Q smart shower offers a unique proximity sensor, so once you approach or move your hand towards the controller, the display panel will autmoatially 'wake up' without having to manually switch it on. This innovative sensor can detect any movement in front of it from approx. 0.5m away.
Optional eco mode
You can save up to 33% more water with the eco mode. It's adjusted when you install the shower valve and could save you a small fortune on your water bill. All without taking anything away from the quality of this amazing shower.

Standard showers can have hot temperature spikes when others in the house turn on taps or flush the toilet.
Thermostatic control means that this shower will hold its temperature steady at all times. It dynamically adjusts the mix of hot and cold water offsetting the everyday changes in water pressure experienced in most family homes.

Had this all fitted in our ensuite a few days go and we absolutely love it. The design is great and everything eels like good quality. The fixed head is a good distance away from the wall and the handheld has a good sized head on it. The app is good and after a few attempts to set it all up with our fitter we got it all working and linked with Google Home. I must say the information available online for the Google integration isn't great from Aquailsa but it turns on when you ask Google etc and the controller is easy to use too.
Would recommend this to people looking for a 'smart' shower but would welcome more tutorials and details about any other smart features that are available through Google integration like routines etc.

As a result of checking the market to identify the most appropriate shower system for our needs, we spoke to both Aqualisa and Plumbworld who answered all our questions. What was the most surprising for us was that Plumbworld not only submitted the best price performance for our shower, but actually delivered the shower on the day as promised (an unusual general occurrence these days).

If you want to spend a lot of your money on a smart shower then please don't waste any of it on this Aqualisa one. The app doesn't work but they tell you they're hoping to fix it "some time next year". When the app does on the rare occasion connect it's 10-20 minutes after you've pressed to start it. Not good when you've left the house! It doesn't work via Alexa either. All a bit pointless when these are the reasons why you chose this shower. We also have the issue where we've used the shower and it won't turn off as the touch screen has frozen. A nice trip into the loft to turn the power off when you're dripping wet. Not ideal. The engineer has been out and confirmed we have had 17 non starts plus other connection problems but because he couldn't replicate the frozen screen problem on the day he won't replace the controller. The engineers aren't interested in any app connection problems. So in summary the shower is alright when it works but if you want a smart shower then stay well clear of Aqualisa as this one isn't fit for market and their customer care is hopeless.
