Natural Wooden Finish

The AKW wooden slatted shower seat brings a warmer, more natural look to accessible bathrooms. Its wooden surface offers an alternative to plastic shower seats, combining practical seated showering with a finish that feels at home in your bathroom.

Rubberwood for Humid Conditions

The seat is made from ecologically friendly rubberwood, chosen for its dense grain. This helps minimise shrinkage in humid conditions, making it suitable for use in a bathroom or shower room.

Adjustable Seat Height

The seat height can be set between 390mm and 640mm during initial installation, allowing it to be positioned to suit the user. This flexibility helps create a comfortable accessible showering setup.

Adjustable Feet and Support Legs

The support legs sit beneath the seat, with feet offering 13mm of adjustment to accommodate uneven flooring. This allows the installer to level the seat to suit the shower area.

Folding Seat and Legs

Both the seat and its legs fold away when they’re not needed, leaving more space available in the shower. It’s a useful feature for shared bathrooms, where accessible shower accessories need to accommodate different users.

Durable Stainless Steel Frame

The stainless steel frame provides strong, corrosion-resistant support for everyday use in wet conditions. It also comes with a lifetime warranty for added reassurance.

Maximum Rated Load

This shower seat has a maximum rated load of 250kg when fitted to a solid wall. This limit must not be exceeded.
