Please note: the maximum rated load is 160kg when fitted to a solid wall. This limit must not be exceeded.

Comfortable Seated Showering

The AKW shower seat combines blue padding with a backrest and armrests, providing a comfortable place to sit while washing. The armrests let you rest your arms, while the backrest offers additional support behind you.

Designed for accessible showering, it’s a practical addition to accessible bathrooms where standing throughout a shower can be difficult or tiring.

Set the Height to Suit the User

During installation, the seat height can be set between 482mm and 607mm to create a comfortable seating position. This allows the installer to tailor the height to the person using it.

The feet also provide 13mm of adjustment to help accommodate uneven flooring and keep the seat level. Together, these adjustments help achieve a stable, correctly positioned installation.

Fold Away to Free Up Space

The seat, arms, and support legs fold away when they’re not needed, leaving more room within the showering area. This is particularly useful in shared bathrooms where other users prefer to stand.

If you’re comparing shower seats, the folding arrangement offers seated comfort without permanently occupying the same amount of shower space.

Easy-to-Clean Aluminium Frame

The polished aluminium frame gives the seat a neat appearance and a surface that’s straightforward to clean. Its maximum rated load is 160kg when correctly installed on a solid wall, so the mounting surface must be suitable for the installation.
