Will a 1500mm bath be comfortable for an adult, or will you feel cramped?

A 1500mm bath can be very comfortable because many designs make better use of width and shape than the raw length suggests. For example, a 1500 x 700mm single-ended wide bath or a 1500 x 855mm L-shaped shower bath gives more leg and shoulder room than a narrow straight tub. Many 1500mm L-shaped models come as bundles with a shower screen and panels, for example the 1500 x 855mm options that include a screen and side panel. If you prefer a straight bath with a shower, choose a model listed with a screen included or add a compatible screen to avoid splash. Remember the wider the bath at the shower end, the easier it is to shower without feeling restricted.

Which bath material is best for a small 1500mm bathroom?

Acrylic is the most common and practical choice because it is lightweight, warm to the touch and easy to install in compact rooms. If you want a premium feel with a heavier, more solid surface choose mineral resin or solid surface, which also gives a cleaner aesthetic for a freestanding look. Steel enamel is extremely durable but can feel colder underfoot, while copper offers a distinctive look and natural antibacterial properties if you want something unique. Do you need side or end panels for a 1500mm bath, and when are they necessary?

Panels are needed when the bath sits in an alcove or corner to hide pipework and give a finished look; choose a side panel for an alcove and a side and end panel set for corner installations. Many freestanding 1500mm tubs come with no panel requirement, so you don't need panels if the bath is exposed on all sides. Bundles for L-shaped shower baths often include front and end panels and a screen, which saves you matching parts.
