What’s Included:
The Warmup StickyMat Electric Underfloor Heating Mat combines a thin heating cable with a self-adhesive mesh backing. Designed for regularly shaped rooms, the mat can be rolled out in parallel runs to provide fast and consistent floor-heating coverage.
Pre-spaced electric heating cable
The heating element is attached to the mesh at predetermined intervals, removing the need to position the entire cable manually. This supports even heat distribution while simplifying installation planning.
Its dual-core construction allows the system to be connected from one end, reducing the need to return a second connection cable to the starting point.
Low-profile 1.8mm wire
The heating cable measures only 1.8mm thick, helping minimise its effect on overall floor build-up. This makes the system suitable for renovation projects where changes in finished floor height need to be limited.
The complete build-up will also depend on insulation, adhesive or levelling compound and the selected floor covering.
Self-adhesive mesh backing
A pressure-sensitive adhesive holds the glass-fibre mesh against a properly prepared subfloor. This helps the mat remain flat while tile adhesive or levelling compound is applied.
The mat can be carefully repositioned during installation before it is permanently covered.
Designed for regularly shaped rooms
The 0.5m-wide mat rolls out efficiently across rectangular and regularly shaped spaces. At walls and obstacles, the mesh can be cut and turned so the next run continues in the required direction.
The heating cable itself must never be cut, shortened, crossed or overlapped.
Two power variants
StickyMat is available in two power-output options to suit different project requirements. The appropriate version will depend on whether the system is intended for floor warming or as a room’s primary heat source.
A heat-loss assessment should be completed before using electric underfloor heating as the main form of heating.
Compatible floor finishes
The system can be installed beneath a wide range of floor finishes and over suitable subfloor types when the complete build-up is approved for underfloor heating.
Always observe the floor manufacturer’s maximum temperature and thermal-resistance limits, particularly with timber, laminate, vinyl and carpet.
Faster installation
Warmup states that the roll-out mat design can reduce installation time by up to 35% compared with less structured electric floor-heating methods.
Actual fitting time will depend on the room layout, subfloor condition, preparation and installer experience.
Efficient heating performance
Electric underfloor heating distributes warmth across the available floor area. When combined with suitable insulation and responsive controls, it can provide efficient and comfortable room heating.
Actual energy use will depend on room heat loss, insulation, thermostat settings, floor finish and usage patterns.
Professional electrical connection
The mat can be laid as part of the floor installation, but electrical testing and final connection must be completed by a suitably qualified electrician.
Resistance and insulation readings should be recorded before, during and after installation. The system must be connected through the protective devices required by Warmup and current wiring regulations.
SafetyNet™ Installation Guarantee
If the heating system is accidentally damaged during installation, Warmup’s SafetyNet™ Installation Guarantee provides a replacement heater of the same make and model, subject to its registration requirements and conditions.
Lifetime warranty
StickyMat is covered by a lifetime manufacturer’s warranty against qualifying defects, subject to correct installation, registration and the applicable exclusions.
Sustainability recognition
Warmup received an EcoVadis Bronze Medal in 2023 for its assessed sustainability practices. This recognition applies to the company rather than the individual heating mat’s energy consumption.
