A fully freestanding bath wants a walkway on all four sides, and a lot of British bathrooms simply do not have one. Porto is the answer to that: with its back-to-wall design it fits tight to the wall with the waste and the pipework hidden behind it. It's the ideal way of getting a freestanding look, without losing the floor space.
