The MX Low Profile 1300 x 900mm Stone Resin Shower Tray with Waste is a highly durable and stylish stone resin shower tray that boasts universal compatibility.
Cast stone
This shower tray is made from a cast stone, which is created from crushed stone and a resin-based glue that is mixed-together and put in a mould to set. The tray then gets a gel coating which gives the smooth white finish that is strong and durable. Cast stone trays can be installed on any type of floor either on top or flush.
Please note: due to the stone resin core and acrylic-capped finish, these shower trays cannot be cut to size.
Acrylic capped
Acrylic capped shower trays are constructed from pieces of stone in a special resin which is moulded to shape and then polished. The stone resin core is covered with a durable glossy white acrylic surface which is scratch, chip and discolouration resistant.
40mm deep
These shower trays have a low profile look which gives a minimalist appearance whilst also being practical, with the raised edge meaning that there is no chance of any water escaping, keeping your floor dry and slip-free.

Is this suitable for being cut? Stone resin shower trays should be able to be cut to fit an area without damaging the tray. Is this true for this tray? Thank you
Unfortunately, no, these trays are not designed to be cut. The stone resin core and acrylic-capped finish rely on their pre-molded, unified structure. Cutting would disrupt the waterproofing integrity, risk leakage, and compromise structural strength and warranty coverage.
