The Mira Select EV was developed with accessibility in mind. Its visually optimised controls were co-developed and certified by the RNIB, with high contrast markings, raised details, and an anti-reflective finish to make the valve easier to read and use.

A push-button on/off control helps users who may find a conventional turning control difficult to operate. The valve also gives a clear audible click when adjusted, providing useful feedback alongside the visual and tactile markings.

Four Ways to Shower

The 110mm handset offers four spray patterns, selected using a button on the shower head. You can change the spray to suit your preference without adjusting the valve. The handset sits on an adjustable riser rail, so its height can be changed for different people using the shower.

Consistent Temperature Control

As one of Mira’s thermostatic mixer showers, the Select EV uses a Mira Nano-T valve cartridge to help keep the water temperature steady when someone elsewhere in the home uses a tap or flushes a toilet. The valve is TMV3 accredited and includes an automatic shutdown feature specified to operate within two seconds.

Mira Cool Shield technology is also designed to help keep the exposed valve body cooler to the touch. These features make temperature control a central part of the shower’s design.

Flexible Exposed Installation

Exposed valve mixer showers keep their controls accessible on the surface of the wall. The Select EV has a multi-fit design with inlet connections adjustable between 110mm and 155mm pipe centres, which can be helpful when replacing a shower over existing pipework or fixing holes. Its chrome finish works with a wide range of bathroom fittings.
