Extra Grip Without an Obvious Anti-Slip Look
The Mira Flight Safe is designed for anyone who wants a more secure surface underfoot but still likes the clean appearance of a standard white shower tray. Its anti-slip surface has been tested using the DIN 51097 barefoot ramp test, which assesses grip on a wet, soapy surface. It exceeds the requirements for Class C, the highest classification in that test.
The grip is part of the tray’s finish, so you don’t need to apply a separate anti-slip treatment after installation. Paired with a compatible shower enclosure, the rectangular design gives you plenty of room to shower while keeping the bathroom looking uncluttered.
Sturdy Stone Resin Construction
Inside the tray is a stone resin core enclosed within acrylic layers. This gives it a solid feel underfoot, while the acrylic-capped surface provides a smooth white finish designed to resist everyday scratches, chips, and discolouration. Hollowed sections underneath reduce the tray’s weight, making it easier to handle during installation than its solid appearance might suggest.
At just 40mm high, the tray sits low to the floor for a neat finish. It’s worth planning the installation with your fitter first, as a low-profile tray leaves less room underneath for waste pipework.
BioCote® Protection
BioCote® technology helps reduce bacteria and mould growth by up to 99.9%. It is incorporated during manufacture, so the protection forms part of the tray rather than being applied as an after-installation coating. Alongside regular cleaning, it helps you keep the shower area hygienic.
Waste Included
The Rapid-flo waste is included with the tray, saving you from having to find a separate one. It has a chrome finish, drains at approximately 25–30 litres per minute, and offers access from above when maintenance is needed.
Please note: This tray has zero upstands. Ask your installer to check the enclosure, wall arrangement, and space available for the waste pipework before ordering.
