At only 25mm high, the Mira Flight Level sits lower than many conventional shower trays. It can be installed directly onto a suitable floor for low-level access or fully recessed to create a flush, step-free entrance.
Its generous rectangular shape provides a spacious showering area and can be paired with a wide range of shower enclosures. This makes it a practical choice for contemporary bathrooms, wetroom-style installations, and anyone comparing low profile rectangular shower trays.
Reversible Installation
The tray can be flipped during installation, allowing the discreet waste slot to sit on the preferred side. This provides greater flexibility when coordinating the tray with the glass panel, existing pipework, and bathroom layout.
The oblong waste has been shaped to fit more easily between floor joists. Its waste pipe can also be connected horizontally or vertically, depending on the requirements of the installation.
Efficient, Easy-to-Clean Waste
The included waste delivers a flow rate of 30 litres per minute at a 10mm head height, increasing to 40 litres per minute at 15mm. Its removable trap provides access from above, making routine cleaning simpler.
An integrated hair catcher helps prevent long hair from entering the pipework and causing blockages. The waste sits discreetly at the side of the tray, leaving more of the showering surface unobstructed.
BioCote® Clean Technology
BioCote® is incorporated into the surface to reduce bacteria and mould growth by up to 99.9%. Combined with the tray’s smooth design and minimal dirt traps, this makes it easier to keep the shower area clean and hygienic.
Mira manufactures and tests its shower trays in the UK, providing added confidence in the tray’s construction and performance.

arrived on time in perfect condition however my plumber decided he had made a measuring error. Plumbworld were happy to swap the item for the correct sized tray.

I have 4 girls in the house with long hair, so the hair trap was the main selling point. The trap is very easy to remove and clean so very please. I was worried about the slim design and unusual waste, our shower has a high flow rate and only 2/3 glass screen, but it works very well, water flows out quickly and no flooding issues even with long showers. It also looks modern and easy to clean, so overall very please. Note: I had to purchase 2 as the first one was leaned againstt a wall for 1 week and bowed (the warning is helpfully inside the package) - so make sure to store flat!

★★★☆☆
The tray itself looks great, is very sturdy and good quality. However the drain, which is meant to be a more modern method of draining is not that great. Yes, it might fit easily between some joists but the tray can only fit in one way in the room with the drain at the back of the shower and unless your joists perfectly line up, it won't fit easily. If it doesn't fit you'll need to bump out the wall. Also with the drain being at the back in the middle of the shower, how are you going to maintain easy access to it in the future? You'd need to have a stud wall with access from the rear or from a floor below. And with the drain being linear you need to get the alignment in all three directions perfectly right, but how are you going to do that if you can't easily access the drain or are not allowed to use Flexi connections as per the manual. With the tray being low level, you need to get it exactly level, quite difficult in an old building. The tray is quite heavy, which is good because it's sturdy but it makes it difficult to move and continuously test drain alignment.
Haven't tested the drainage yet but concerned it doesn't drain very fast and a vortex drain would have been better...
