What’s Included:
Mira Flight 25mm low-profile shower tray
Removable waste trap
Integrated hair catcher
The Mira Flight Low-Profile Shower Tray combines an ultra-slim 25mm design with a discreet side waste and flexible installation options. It can be fitted directly onto a suitable floor or recessed for a flush finish, while the removable waste trap makes routine cleaning more straightforward.
Ultra-low 25mm profile
At just 25mm high, the tray creates a clean and minimal appearance. When installed on top of the floor, its reduced height provides easier access than many deeper shower trays.
The final step height will depend on the supporting base, floor finish and installation method.
Flush recessed installation
The tray can be recessed into a suitable floor to create a flush transition into the showering area. This supports a step-free appearance and can be beneficial in wet-room-style bathrooms.
A flush tray alone does not create a fully accessible bathroom. The complete layout, gradient, enclosure, floor finish and supporting features must also be considered.
BioCote® antimicrobial technology
BioCote® technology is incorporated into the tray to help inhibit bacterial and mould growth. Mira states that the treatment can reduce microbes by up to 99.9% under the applicable test conditions.
BioCote® supplements normal cleaning and does not replace regular bathroom hygiene.
Discreet side waste
The waste is positioned towards the side of the tray, leaving more of the central showering area unobstructed. The tray’s ergonomic shape is designed to minimise recesses where dirt and residue can collect.
The tray can be flipped during installation so the waste slot sits on the same side as the glass shower panel.
Removable waste trap
The supplied waste trap can be removed from above for routine cleaning. An integrated hair catcher retains long hair before it reaches the waste pipe, helping reduce the risk of blockages.
Flexible drainage connection
The oblong waste body is designed to fit more easily between floor joists. Its pipework can be connected horizontally or vertically according to the available drainage route.
This flexibility is particularly useful when recessing the tray into an existing floor structure.
Waste flow performance
The waste provides the following stated drainage rates:
30 litres per minute at a 10mm head height
40 litres per minute at a 15mm head height
The complete drainage system must be capable of handling the shower’s maximum flow rate.
Made in the UK
Mira designs, manufactures and assembles its products in the UK using established production and testing processes.
Installation requirements
The tray must be fitted onto a flat, level and structurally suitable base. Recessed installations require careful planning around joists, drainage, waterproofing and the finished floor height.
Installation should be completed by a suitably qualified professional in accordance with Mira’s instructions.
Create a streamlined showering space
Choose the Mira Flight 25mm Shower Tray for low-level access, flexible waste positioning and convenient top-access maintenance.

arrived on time in perfect condition however my plumber decided he had made a measuring error. Plumbworld were happy to swap the item for the correct sized tray.

I have 4 girls in the house with long hair, so the hair trap was the main selling point. The trap is very easy to remove and clean so very please. I was worried about the slim design and unusual waste, our shower has a high flow rate and only 2/3 glass screen, but it works very well, water flows out quickly and no flooding issues even with long showers. It also looks modern and easy to clean, so overall very please. Note: I had to purchase 2 as the first one was leaned againstt a wall for 1 week and bowed (the warning is helpfully inside the package) - so make sure to store flat!

★★★☆☆
The tray itself looks great, is very sturdy and good quality. However the drain, which is meant to be a more modern method of draining is not that great. Yes, it might fit easily between some joists but the tray can only fit in one way in the room with the drain at the back of the shower and unless your joists perfectly line up, it won't fit easily. If it doesn't fit you'll need to bump out the wall. Also with the drain being at the back in the middle of the shower, how are you going to maintain easy access to it in the future? You'd need to have a stud wall with access from the rear or from a floor below. And with the drain being linear you need to get the alignment in all three directions perfectly right, but how are you going to do that if you can't easily access the drain or are not allowed to use Flexi connections as per the manual. With the tray being low level, you need to get it exactly level, quite difficult in an old building. The tray is quite heavy, which is good because it's sturdy but it makes it difficult to move and continuously test drain alignment.
Haven't tested the drainage yet but concerned it doesn't drain very fast and a vortex drain would have been better...
