Ultra-Low 25mm Profile
The Mira Flight Level is just 25mm high, making it one of the lowest-profile rectangular shower trays in the range. When installed directly on top of the floor, it provides low-level access and a clean, contemporary appearance.
The tray can also be recessed fully into a suitable floor to create a flush transition into the showering area. This removes the raised step and can make access easier, although the floor structure, drainage, and waterproofing must all be suitable for this installation method.
BioCote® Protection
BioCote® technology is incorporated into the tray during manufacture and reduces bacteria and mould growth by up to 99.9%. Because the protection forms part of the material, it continues working throughout the life of the tray.
This technology supports regular cleaning rather than replacing it, helping you maintain a fresher and more hygienic showering area.
Discreet Side Waste
Instead of positioning a conventional round waste within the main standing area, the Mira Flight Level uses a discreet slot at the side of the tray. This helps maximise the usable space and reduces awkward areas where dirt and residue can collect.
The tray can be flipped during installation, allowing the waste slot to sit on the same side as the glass shower panel where required.
Removable Waste and Hair Catcher
The included oblong waste is shaped to fit conveniently between floor joists. Its outlet can be connected horizontally or vertically, giving the installer greater flexibility when arranging the drainage pipework.
The waste handles 30 litres per minute at a 10mm head height and 40 litres per minute at 15mm. A removable trap provides access from above for cleaning, while the integrated hair catcher helps reduce the risk of blockages.

I have 4 girls in the house with long hair, so the hair trap was the main selling point. The trap is very easy to remove and clean so very please. I was worried about the slim design and unusual waste, our shower has a high flow rate and only 2/3 glass screen, but it works very well, water flows out quickly and no flooding issues even with long showers. It also looks modern and easy to clean, so overall very please. Note: I had to purchase 2 as the first one was leaned againstt a wall for 1 week and bowed (the warning is helpfully inside the package) - so make sure to store flat!

The tray itself looks great, is very sturdy and good quality. However the drain, which is meant to be a more modern method of draining is not that great. Yes, it might fit easily between some joists but the tray can only fit in one way in the room with the drain at the back of the shower and unless your joists perfectly line up, it won't fit easily. If it doesn't fit you'll need to bump out the wall. Also with the drain being at the back in the middle of the shower, how are you going to maintain easy access to it in the future? You'd need to have a stud wall with access from the rear or from a floor below. And with the drain being linear you need to get the alignment in all three directions perfectly right, but how are you going to do that if you can't easily access the drain or are not allowed to use Flexi connections as per the manual. With the tray being low level, you need to get it exactly level, quite difficult in an old building. The tray is quite heavy, which is good because it's sturdy but it makes it difficult to move and continuously test drain alignment.
Haven't tested the drainage yet but concerned it doesn't drain very fast and a vortex drain would have been better...
