What’s Included
1 x Mira Flight Level 1000 x 800mm stone resin rectangular shower tray
1 x removable shower tray waste trap
1 x hair catcher
Ultra-Low 25mm Profile
At just 25mm high, the Mira Flight Level sits lower than many conventional shower trays. When installed directly onto the floor, it provides low-level access and a clean contemporary finish.
Where the floor construction and plumbing allow, the tray can also be fully recessed to create a flush, step-free entrance. Your installer should assess the floor and waste route before fitting to confirm whether recessed installation is suitable.
Reversible Rectangular Design
The tray can be flipped during installation, allowing the waste slot to sit on the same side as the glass panel. This provides greater flexibility when planning the position of your shower enclosure and connecting the waste pipework.
BioCote® antimicrobial technology is incorporated into the tray during manufacture. It reduces bacteria and mould growth by up to 99.9%, helping the showering area stay cleaner and more hygienic between routine washes.
The tray has also been designed without awkward dirt traps, making the main surface easier to wipe down.
Discreet Waste with Easy Maintenance
Positioned at the side of the tray, the oblong waste occupies less of the showering area and is shaped to fit conveniently between floor joists. The pipe can be connected horizontally or vertically to suit the installation.
The waste delivers a flow rate of 30 litres per minute at a 10mm head height and 40 litres per minute at a 15mm head height. Its trap can be removed from above for cleaning, while the hair catcher helps prevent long hair from reaching the pipework and causing blockages.
Create a Lower-Level Shower Area
Add the Mira Flight Level tray to your basket for an ultra-low design, flexible waste installation, and easier everyday cleaning.

Jade asked

Yes - there is access on top of the waste for cleaning purposes.

I have been pondering over this tray. I have plenty of room between the joist, no problem, however I would want the waste down the long glass side, is this possible?
Yes, as long as you have sufficient fall on the wastepipe, there is no problem with flipping the tray around so the waste slot is on the same side as the glass
arrived on time in perfect condition however my plumber decided he had made a measuring error. Plumbworld were happy to swap the item for the correct sized tray.

I have 4 girls in the house with long hair, so the hair trap was the main selling point. The trap is very easy to remove and clean so very please. I was worried about the slim design and unusual waste, our shower has a high flow rate and only 2/3 glass screen, but it works very well, water flows out quickly and no flooding issues even with long showers. It also looks modern and easy to clean, so overall very please. Note: I had to purchase 2 as the first one was leaned againstt a wall for 1 week and bowed (the warning is helpfully inside the package) - so make sure to store flat!

★★★☆☆
The tray itself looks great, is very sturdy and good quality. However the drain, which is meant to be a more modern method of draining is not that great. Yes, it might fit easily between some joists but the tray can only fit in one way in the room with the drain at the back of the shower and unless your joists perfectly line up, it won't fit easily. If it doesn't fit you'll need to bump out the wall. Also with the drain being at the back in the middle of the shower, how are you going to maintain easy access to it in the future? You'd need to have a stud wall with access from the rear or from a floor below. And with the drain being linear you need to get the alignment in all three directions perfectly right, but how are you going to do that if you can't easily access the drain or are not allowed to use Flexi connections as per the manual. With the tray being low level, you need to get it exactly level, quite difficult in an old building. The tray is quite heavy, which is good because it's sturdy but it makes it difficult to move and continuously test drain alignment.
Haven't tested the drainage yet but concerned it doesn't drain very fast and a vortex drain would have been better...
